Silver Cave is the final postgame wilderness path, built around the sense that Kanto is almost done and one battle still waits beyond the cave.
Getting in
Reach this area from Route 28 when the rest of Kanto is largely behind you. The outside map already feels like a statement: you are at the end of the line now.
Main reason to visit
The reason to come is obvious. Silver Cave is where the postgame points when it wants one last climb and the strongest optional fight in the game.
Why return
Return when you are ready for the cave itself, when you want the final wilderness loop, or when Kanto completion is pushing you toward one last test.
