Step inside
Silver Cave Outside is the world getting quiet before the final climb. Route 28 ends here, the Pokémon Center sits nearby, and the cave entrance waits like it has been holding the postgame in place.
What to do inside
Search for the hidden Full Restore, use the Pokémon Center, and check the grass and water for Tangela, Ponyta, Rapidash, Doduo, Dodrio, Sneasel, Poliwhirl, Poliwag, and version-specific heavy hitters. Cut and Surf give the outside map just enough shape before the cave takes over.
Return with a reason
Return when you are ready for Silver Cave, when your team needs one last rest before the mountain, or when Kanto completion points you toward the strongest optional battle in the game.
