Azalea Town Guide

Azalea Town is the slow, wooded midpoint between the first two Gyms, with [Slowpoke Well B1F]({location:slowpoke-well-b1f}), [Ilex Forest]({location:ilex-forest}), and Kurt's workshop all tied into the story.

Get your bearings

Azalea feels smaller than Violet or Goldenrod, but almost every corner matters. The town locks the road until the Slowpoke crisis is fixed, then turns into the launch point for the forest run north.

Main jobs here

Handle Slowpoke Well B1F first, clear the Gym, then use the town to bridge into Ilex Forest and Route 34. Kurt, the Charcoal Kiln, and the town center all add reasons to sweep the place carefully before leaving.

Good revisits

Come back when you want Kurt's ball work, an easy stop before the forest, or a clean place to reconnect the southern caves with the northbound road to Goldenrod.
