Route 20 Guide
Route 20 is the sea stretch past the Seafoam side of Kanto, connecting the Fuchsia surf line to Cinnabar.
Travel the route
Travel Route 20 when you are deep into the southern sea corridor between Route 19 and Cinnabar Island. It is longer, wetter, and more exposed than the land routes around it.
What matters here
The route matters because it carries the Seafoam-side Gym story and completes the coast run that Route 19 starts. It is one of the clearest examples of postgame Kanto treating water as a proper road network.

Return when you need the Cinnabar approach, the Seafoam pass, or another full sweep of Kanto's south coast.
