Route 35
19 wild Pokémon across 4 encounter methods. 13 trainer battles.
Route 35 Guide
Route 35 is the north gate out of Goldenrod, feeding National Park and the road toward Ecruteak.
Travel the route
Leave Goldenrod City through this route when you want the next northbound push. It is the simplest way to reach National Park and start moving toward Ecruteak.
What matters here
The route matters because it lines up the park gates, a solid trainer run, and a very readable northward progression. It feels like the clean break between the big-city middle game and the legend-heavy west side of Johto.
Come back later
Come back when you want National Park access, a fast Goldenrod exit, or a dependable northbound training strip.
