Route 24
11 wild Pokémon across 2 encounter methods. 1 trainer battle.
Route 24 Guide
Route 24 is Cerulean's northern bridge route, turning the city into a launch point for the cape and Bill's side of the map.
Travel the route
Route 24 is the bridge north of Cerulean City, and in the postgame it gets pulled into the Power Plant mystery. The cape road starts here, but the stolen Machine Part story gives the bridge a sharper purpose.
What to find
Battle the Rocket Grunt with Golbat when the quest brings him out of hiding. The grass and water can bring Bellsprout, Abra, Weepinbell, Venonat, Sunkern, Oddish, Venomoth, Goldeen, and Seaking, making the short route a useful catch stop as well as a story bridge.
Return with a reason
Return for the bridge-to-cape line, Cerulean quest cleanup, and a neat northeast Kanto detour that still feels tied to the city below.

Ways To Move Around
Some parts of this map need a move, or only work one way.
Surf opens water paths here
Water tiles can become paths once you can Surf.
Bring a Surf user after earning Fog Badge if you want every shoreline path.
One-way ledges shape the route
These ledges let you jump down but not climb back up from the same spot.
Look before you hop if you are collecting items or avoiding trainers.
