Route 19
2 wild Pokémon across 1 encounter method. 4 trainer battles.
Route 19 Guide
Route 19 is the first southern sea route out of Fuchsia, pushing you into the long surf chain toward Cinnabar.
Travel the route
Route 19 is where Fuchsia City gives way to open water. The gate is behind you, Route 20 is ahead, and the whole southern edge of Kanto becomes a sea lane.
What to find
Battle Swimmer Dawn, Harold, Jerome, and Tucker. Surfing brings Tentacool and Tentacruel, while fishing can add Magikarp, Krabby, Corsola, Staryu, and Kingler. The route is direct, but the swimmer line keeps it from feeling empty.
Return with a reason
Return when you want the sea path to Cinnabar, water-route trainer cleanup, or a southern Kanto loop that avoids Cycling Road.
