Mahogany Town is the suspicious little stop beneath the lake crisis, with a fake shop, a Rocket hideout, and the eastern road into Ice Path and Blackthorn.
Arrive and look around
Mahogany is tiny enough to seem harmless, which makes the unease land harder. The shop sells strange goods, someone talks about the Gyarados rampage to the north, and the eastern road toward Route 44 stays out of reach until the trouble above town is handled.
What to do here
Go north through Route 43 to Lake Of Rage, face the red Gyarados, then follow Lance back to Mahogany Mart 1F. The shop's secret stairs lead into Team Rocket Base B1F, and the Gym opens after the hideout is cleared.
Return with a reason
Return whenever you want the lake loop, the RageCandyBar flavor, the hideout path, or the final eastern push through Route 44 and Ice Path 1F toward Blackthorn.
