Victory Road
6 wild Pokémon across 1 encounter method. 3 trainer battles.
Victory Road Guide
Victory Road is the cave that stands between your badge set and the Indigo Plateau, turning the final approach into one last field test.
Getting in
Enter from Route 23 when the badge gate finally gives way. The cave exists to make sure the League push still has one real obstacle left.
Main reason to visit
Its main job is pacing the Indigo approach. The route, the cave, and the Plateau all feel bigger because Victory Road refuses to let the final run become only a hallway.
Why return
Return when you revisit Indigo Plateau later or want to re-run the western Kanto endgame line from badges to cave to League.

Map Movement Tips
These clues come from the map tiles, so they are handy when you are planning which moves or paths matter here.
One-way ledges shape the route
These ledges let you jump down but not climb back up from the same spot.
Look before you hop if you are collecting items or avoiding trainers.
Floor holes can drop you somewhere
Some holes are part of a path or puzzle, not just scenery.
Use them when the route below matters, especially in cave puzzles.
