S.S. Anne Guide
The S.S. Anne is Vermilion’s grand ship visit, a floating maze of cabins, sailors, rival pressure, hidden food, and the captain’s Cut HM.
Step inside
Show Bill’s S.S. Ticket at Vermilion Dock and the ship opens into one of Kanto’s best early set pieces. It is fancy, crowded, and secretly full of trainers who are very happy to battle in their cabins.
Explore the place
Explore the rooms before visiting the captain. Pick up TM08, Max Ether, Rare Candy, Ether, Max Potion, TM44, a hidden Hyper Potion, and the hidden Great Ball in the kitchen. Battle sailors, gentlemen, fishers, lasses, and your rival on 2F, then help the seasick captain for HM01.
Come back with a reason
Do not leave too quickly: once the captain gives you Cut and you step off for good, the S.S. Anne sails away. Treat it as a one-time treasure ship and finish your sweep before you say goodbye.
