Route 10 North
8 wild Pokémon across 2 encounter methods.
Route 10 North Guide
Route 10 North is the rocky approach that feeds the Power Plant and the northern mouth of Rock Tunnel.
Travel the route
This route ties Route 9 to Power Plant and the top side of the tunnel route. It is one of eastern Kanto's clearest utility roads because every branch leads somewhere important.
What matters here
The Power Plant quest is the headline, but the route also works as the upper anchor for the Rock Tunnel corridor. It is a good reminder that some Kanto roads matter because of what they point at, not because of their length.
Come back later
Return when the Machine Part quest is live, when you want the north tunnel approach, or when you are stitching Cerulean and Lavender together from the east side.

Map Movement Tips
These clues come from the map tiles, so they are handy when you are planning which moves or paths matter here.
Surf opens water paths here
Water tiles can become paths once you can Surf.
Bring a Surf user after earning Fog Badge if you want every shoreline path.
Repel Planning
If your lead Pokémon is above a wild level, Repel skips it. These checkpoints show what disappears completely.
